Remedy

Stopped me in my tracks!

Fighting.
Since rest hasn’t come easy,
which is the best course usually.

A sore throat wants to put its noose on me,
I’m fight with natural cures:
Eat well - fruits & vegetables!
Warm lemon water
Salt water gargles
Lots of rosehip tea
Elderberry syrup and lozenges
Mediterranean-sourced Wild Oregano Oil
And an Advil as needed. Ha!

It's supposed be a very pretty and warm
weekend so I want to feel well and energetic.

What are some of your home remedies when you get ill?

Wishing you a healthy and happy weekend!

  1. Fresh ginger tea... but also, the oregano oil. I'm taking it now - have been for months - to clear the fungus in my sinuses, and elderberry syrup, pretty much everything you do including the Advil, which is just about the only "drug" I ever take, for years now. Also, I'd make a bone broth soup.

A confused dandelion - not a good sign, I don't think... we are waaaaay out of whack :(

    Feel better!!

My boss told he warms milk and adds turmeric and honey. I tried it tonight - it actually tastes good.

  2. Yuk, this cold lingers...my aids are sea salt gargles, juicing of orange, carrot, apple, ginger blend, SLEEP and then a sudufed! Only thing that's clears the sinus headache. ;)
If you're feeling well today, get out there and mingle with the buffalo!!

  4. When I get ill I drink lots of warm water and take hot baths before going to bed. As I am a person with lots of allergies and intolerances, I don't do citrus fruits like all the others, because they make even more inflammations in my body. I supplement with zinc and cod liver oil.

    1. water. again. a long time ago i read an article about an imprisoned doctor (in iran, i think), who treated other prisoners "with water," and simple to difficult ailments disappeared.
