It was such a pleasant day... always have to take advantage of the good weather. :)
You're getting my snow!!! WAlking round your P Hill with that cool walking stick. Nice sister. Snazzy leggings. Amazing heart rock. So YOU.Is that a sprig of cedar?xx
No snow, prairie girl - that's lichen on the rocks. That is a wee cedar tree - just a seedling... the red cedar is native, but has turned invasive on the prairies. Natural prairie fires used to keep them in check - but man's suppression of fires since settling here has let them take control. Now the trees are a huge problem for droughts since a cedar drinks up to 40 gallons of water per day!
How interesting, the history on the cedar. Man always seem to ruin everything. ;)We are getting pounded with snow! And you are getting rain? Nice. (Right?)x
