The small works of my hands recently….

Reader I & Reader II (Found objects: sea stones and figures)

In this society of cell phones and computers, its refreshing to see
someone read an 'old-fashioned' newspaper or a real book! :)

"In the Balance"  (Found objects: shells, sea glass and figure)

I created another miniature gallery for the new local coffee/pastry shop.
This was a 4" x 9" vintage drawer - made over with a paint job of
Buttercream and Wyeth's Field Green and adorned with new treasures
gifted by various artists.

A friend asked me to make her beautiful Labradorite stone wearable -
so I linked some beads and attached to an adjustable satellite chain.

The end of last year, I discovered the beautiful Tangerine Quartz.
I enjoy my own necklace so much that I wanted to create some for other creative types. :)
I think it's the gentleness, and the light and glow which reminds me
of the first or last glimmer of the sun that makes this quartz a joy to wear.

Wired up

This is my progress.  Two are ready.

Tangerine Quartz #1 ($38)
Tangerine Quartz #2 ($25)

The prairie has been soaking up rain and listening to thunder.
Winter is cold but relaxed.
