Wildflowers count down...

Gaillardia pulchella, 8.5 x 11 watercolor
If I didn't have to name all my native wildflower
paintings by their scientific names, I'd probably
title this one Flower Ecstasy or something.

We're still far away from these flowers blooming on the prairie,
but my wildflower paintings will soon be on show at the
Museum of the Western Prairie in Altus, Oklahoma.

Echinacea purpurea, 11 x 14 watercolor

  1. Wouldn’t ya know it...my fave flower is MAD DOG! ❁♡
Your watercolor exhibits are a lot of hard work, but the presentation is always impressive & totally exquisite.
    Wish I could be there.
